Mr Osama Jarrar, Quality Management Director, AIG Airports Ltd.
Thank you for your perfect support
Mr Musa Gungoren, Quality Manager Fraport TAV Ltd.
We have an impeccable record of helping Airport Operators to achieve all levels of accreditation to the global ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation Programme, including the coveted Airport Carbon Neutral status.
Our lead-edge carbon footprinting methodology captures all airport activities and aircraft emissions in the LTO & cruise cycles. Our comprehensive but accessible Carbon Footprint Reports, Energy Audits and recommendations, produced to ISO14064, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and EU EED/ESOS standards respectively are used to inform strategic and tactical decision-making to reduce the carbon footprint of the business, reduce energy consumption and operating costs and secure competitive advantage.
Carbon forecasting technology
==========
Working closely with Dublin Airport in The Republic of Ireland we developed our leading airport footprinting models to incorporate a carbon emissions forecasting capacity that takes in to account projected improvements in aircraft and vehicle technology in to the middle of the 21st Century, enabling leading airport operators to plan for growth in their businesses whilst providing them with a solid platform from which to target emissions' reductions and mitigation strategies
Our experienced team of directors understands that the environmental agenda is developing at a rapid pace. It is difficult to overstate the potential impact that climate change will have on society as a whole, and aviation in particular in the next 10 – 20 years.
The need for effective carbon management is already driving massive changes in the way in which goods and services are delivered and this can have a significant impact on costs.
In an increasingly carbon constrained World airports can be beacons of good environmental practice. AFL offers the way to achieve this and the potential to make significant reductions in operating costs.
In addition to working closely with a range of airports around the World we have advised the following bodies on airport carbon management:
Airports Council International
Airport Operators Association UK
The European Investment Bank
The Clinton Climate Initiative
Turkish Civil Aviation Organisation
Turkish Airports Authority (DHMI)
Turkish Airport Operators
As winner of the ACI (Europe) Best Airports Award and the first airport in the region to achieve Carbon Neutral Status ICF is delighted to acknowledge the contribution of AFL to increasing environmental awareness at Antalya Airport, as recognised in the award. We have been very satisfied to work with AFL and look forward to doing so in future years.
Mr Alexander Laukenmann, General Manager, ICF Airports Ltd. Antalya Airport, Turkey
Abu Dhabi International Airport was the first airport operator in the middle-east region to be formally accredited by the Airport Carbon Accreditation Programme and we are pleased to recognise the value of AFL's input to this project. ADAC can confirm that AFL provided quality services and attention to detail, focusing on delivering successful results of high standards, contributing in ADAC’s successful submission.
Mr George Karamanos, Vice-President, Corporate Marketing and Communications, Abu Dhabi Airport Company
2011 marked the fourth year that London Stansted Airport developed a carbon footprint for its operations. In developing this work we were keen to improve on our original model developed in 2008. Following a detailed tender and evaluation process we chose to use AFL. Working with them is a pleasure; they show a real passion for the work, great attention to detail and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to getting the work done.
I would have no reservations about recommending AFL to other airports.
Dr Andy Jefferson, Head of Planning and Sustainability, Stansted Airport Ltd. (formerly BAA)
Airport Footprints Ltd has been a major support for Tallinn Airport on our way to the ACI Airports Carbon Accreditation Programme. With a huge base of knowledge about carbon footprinting in airports, they have helped us through the whole process and guided us to all the necessary levels of accreditations. AFL is a trustworthy company to work with.
